You're in a familiar land...
... But something sounds different, drowning out the rustle of the grass, is the whirring and electrical hums of various pitches. The darkness is littered with different glowing patterns slightly illuminating feline figures standing around.
One of them stands in front of the rest, yet still still too far away to see clearly, and she speaks. "No need to fear us, we're only investigating this place, after hearing about strange incidents occurring." Her voice isn't the kind an organic animal would have, it's apparently coming from speakers. "I'm Gui." She holds out her paw, "I'm programmed to protect all lifeforms. Don't worry about where your feet are, we have no set territory, and we mean no harm to organic beings." And with that, she set off with whirring and humming felines of all shapes and sizes following behind her.
What just happened? Who, or what were the rest of them? Gui has left a schematic that's hard to read, on it you can only make out a creature the shape of a domestic cat with a metal plate jaw, but the rest of the details have been rubbed off and you can only guess what was there. Care to have a go at creating something from what you see on the schematic?
