Kittens aren't treasured by the whole group, though some may choose to cherish a kitten, the tots are guarded by whoever wants to guard it, even the parents of the kitten don't have to be a saviour to their young.
There are search parties held to look for dead comrades, a ceremony is held around their corpse to wish the fallen teammate a pleasant eternity in the afterlife.
There's no specific Mechanicat designated as the medic, but if an injury needs tending to then it's left up to the decision of the Mechanicat who's designed for being a medic, though other Mechanicats can perform repairs too.
Programming is to be respected, no clanmate may be forced into doing something that goes against their main line of programming, punishment to those who try.

☼You are allowed to have a mate from another Mechanicat clan, just as long as it's not an enemy clan. If caught with a mate from the enemy clan, the mate will be either killed or held under the rank of Rho, to teach a lesson and enforce this rule.
☼You must not kill any of the members of your own group, even if they hold the rank of Rho. The leader may sentence clanmates to be killed, however.
☼The Omnicron is not to take over the leader's role without gaining permission from the leader to do so. However, the Omnicron is free to take action whenever if the leader is, for whatever reason, unable to give permission.
~Spirits~
The paranormal seems to be at play, and some of the apparitions that follow the group were named according to what they have been observed doing.
Pars is the spirit associated with birth, it manifests itself in the form of a tiger cub with blue scrolling stripes, and only appears when a kitten is ready to be born. The only one who can see it is the father of the pending kitten.
Purgamentorum is the spirit associated with death, it's the Mechanicafeles version of the Grim Reaper, it manifests itself in the form of a cat-sized cockroach with decaying wings that it unfolds more and more the closer a Mechanicat is to permanently shutting down. The only one who will see Purgamentorum's apparition is the one who has the highest relationship with the current perishing Mechanicat.
Motricium is the spirit associated with learning, it manifests itself in the form of a aqua colored velociraptor, it shows up when a lesson is being learned, and the more its jaw is open, the harder the lesson being learned. The only one who can see the velociraptor is the one who did the most teaching to whoever's learning the lesson.
